Description:
Inspection and condition survey of the downstream steel bulkhead and south outfall chamber located in the Arthur Kill Sound in Elizabeth, New Jersey. The investigation consisted of a level I, II and III inspection effort to assess the existing condition of the structure compared with the original design plans. Ultrasonic thickness readings also were taken to evaluate section loss in the steel sheeting.
