United States Coast Guard
Boswell Engineering performed concurrent asbestos containing material (ACM) and lead based paint (LBP) surveys for 15 US Coast Guard bases in the following states:

The Boswell
survey team comprised certified Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA)
inspectors and lead inspectors/risk assessors licensed by the National Lead
Assessment and
Abatement Council (NLAAC). Drawing upon the abilities of our
experienced environmental staff Boswell was able to successfully meet the Coast
Guard’s stringent and time-critical project deadlines. The federal government
required the surveys to be completed in 8-weeks from award of contract to report
submission. A major obstacle involved consecutively scheduling the work with
the various bases to avoid interfering with their normal operations.
Additionally, the surveys were completed during the holiday season which also
decreased the project’s timeframe and created additional scheduling constraints.
Following the surveys, Boswell prepared in-depth comprehensive ACM and LBP survey reports utilized by the individual Coast Guard bases as part of their asbestos and lead management plans.
