Boswell was responsible for the design and inspection services for 170,000 sq. ft. of synthetic turf with an underground drainage system. This sports complex is utilized for baseball, softball, soccer, lacrosse and football. Additional improvements at the site include a computerized field lighting system, a remote control scoreboard system, retaining walls, and bleachers with seating for approximately 300 people. The field layout consisted of two (2) baseball fields, a football field, a soccer field, and a lacrosse field. A “Field of Dreams,” a handicapped children’s baseball diamond, was also incorporated into the design of this athletic facility which included a portable backstop, 4’ x 4’ in-laid striped bases and unique field striping.
